hey! could you please send me the link of the site of the bootcamp where you're going? ;) havee fun! x
It’s just my trainer & his girlfriend organizing it, it doesn’t really have a website or anything haha. If you’re from Bulgaria though and you’re interested, let me know because it’s local.

Hey i was wondering if you could answer a question for me :) why is it so important that people measure out their meals? I eat healthy and once i'm full i just don't eat any more. A lot of people say it's important i was wondering if i should start doing it or if I should just keep doing what i'm doing?? Xx
Hey :)
Well, I used to weigh my food when I first started losing weight because my nutritionist advised me to. When we first went through my food log I couldn’t for the life of me figure out the amount of food I had eaten. And whether you had 50 or 200 grams of pasta makes quite a huge difference. Once I learned how different servings look I stopped using the scale but every now and then I find myself adding more pasta to the boiling water thinking “it’s just a cup”, only to find out it’s a huge bowl when I later put it on my plate.
I would recommend my brother to measure his meals because he desperately needs to lose a lot of weight and he keeps saying “I didn’t eat much today”. I think some people, especially if they have a bad relationship with food, tend to have a very distorted idea about the amount of food they consume. Weighting your food and writing it down can be very helpful in such cases.
But other than that I think it’s a bit obsessive. If you don’t have a problem like this you don’t need to be doing it imo :)
Aw, that’s sweet! I hope you’re okay too! And I’m glad I found your blog because it’s fabulous!! <3

Stay safe over there. There seems to be a lot of earthquake activity in that part of the world right now.
Yeah, earthquakes in Europe are rather common but this is the first strong one I’ve experienced. I’ve always lived in a 2-storey house and the first floor is halfway underground so it’s a bit different than being alone in the middle of the night on the 4th floor. I’m just glad everyone is okay and I hope it’s over. There was an earthquake in Italy a couple of days ago, I believe it was stronger than this one..
Thank you for your concern! xo
I was - I graduated a couple of weeks ago :)

09: Guilty pleasure snack?
Homemade potatoes fried in lard :D Haha, this must sound disgusting to you but it’s amazing! Lard is excellent for cooking and doesn’t add any flavor to the potatoes, unlike olive oil for example (which is not good for cooking anyways), plus it makes them super crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
You might ask what’s so bad about this - potatoes are natural and lard is natural. Yep, but the problem is the quantities I eat - I can eat over 2lbs of this alone, I just can’t stop myself!
15: What do you think helped you the most to lose weight?
Limiting my carbs and sugar, definitely. I was eating healthy unprocessed food for about a year before I met my nutritionist without any result at all. In fact I kept gaining weight. The major change she introduced to my diet was changing the proportions of my carbs/protein. And as you see it did the trick :)

07: Song that helps you during a workout session?
We train outside, so no music. We used to have music when we were in the gym during the winter but after the warm-up no one noticed it :D
17: What has changed since you lost weight?
Well, I’m no longer sick all the time, I have more energy, I’m no longer hungry all the time & my skin cleared.

12: How often do you exercise?
In past month or so I’ve been doing mostly yoga once a week and I’ve been going to the gym once a week as well. I was trying to get back on track and do crossfit 2-3 times a week + yoga once a week but I injured my lower back so I had to take some rest.
16: Were you ever teased about your weight?
No, not really. Luckily I put on weight when I was in uni and people were more grown up and didn’t really feel the need to put others down because of their weight.

Being strong, healthy and looking better than ever, of course - no bigger reward than that!

She’s my trainer’s girlfriend. She used to be a competitive runner and now she can lift almost twice her body weight! She’s a beast, seriously! Even the boys are intimidated :D

How many calories do you try to eat every day? And how many grams of protein do you try to eat each day? And are you still trying to lose weight? I love your blog!
I don’t count either. And no, I’m not trying to lose weight. I’m trying to gain some muscle, maybe lose a little more body fat but most of all get stronger. Although I’m not doing much in that direction right now :(

I'm really confused with all this 'eat clean' stuff, could you tell me what I shouldn't be eating? Like cheese because of the fat or something? I'm so useless at stuff like that! It would be so helpful x
Eating clean means different things to different people. But basically anything you can make easily at home by yourself using real ingredients (apples, butter, eggs) is okay to eat.
For example Pringles potato chips is a no-no but organic or one you’ve made yourself using potatoes, oil and spices is okay. Cheese is made from milk and unless it’s heavily processed then it’s okay to eat too. Many people here still make their cheese at home. Fat is a natural ingredient (and may I say extremely vital for a healthy lifestyle) so as long as it’s not trans fat or (partially)hydrogenated vegetable oil it’s good too.
The general rule is when you look at a label if you know what each ingredient is then it’s safe to eat. If there are words that look like they came out of your chemistry lessons, then put it back.
